Black Girls Build Inc. is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth through hands-on construction education, skilled trades exposure, and workforce development opportunities.
Founded on the belief that confidence is bult through experience, we create engaging workshops that introduce participants to carpentry, home improvement, woodworking, gardening, DIY projects, and career pathways within the construction industry.

Our programs are designed to remove barriers, expand opportunities, and inspire participants to see themselves in industries where women - especially Black women - have historically been underrepresented.

Through strategic partnerships with schools, libraries, corporations, municipalites, and community organizations, we provide safe, engaging learning experiences that develop practical skills, leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence.

We envision a future where women and girls are fully represented throughout the construction and skilled trades industries - not because doors were opened for them, but because they were equipped to confidently build their own.

As a mobile workforce development organization serving communities nationwide through partnerships and workshops, our vision extends beyond teaching construction. We are cultivating the next generation of builders, innovators, homeowners, business owners, mentors, and community leaders who will strengthen neighborhoods for generations to come.
